Meetpoint:
The initial meeting is usually held in the Atelier Avvy, Taborska 45, Prague
4.
Further meetings are specific to each session and we will inform our
enrolled students of them individually.
Painting tools:
Tempera, watercolor paints - ideally Czech paints in cubes, or Russian
paints. While is possible to use children’s watercolors, their quality is a
bit lacking. Alternatively, it is possible to use acrylic and/or oil paints
instead. Paintbrushes should cover the range of flat 20 mm, 10 mm, 5 mm,
2 mm and thin 0-1 mm. As for drawing paper or
watercolor
paper, bring at
least A3 format. Other things to bring include easel (not required, but you
will benefit), Chinese ink, pen, pastels, Scotch tape, drawing pad (at least
A3 format), folder, water container .
Food
Individually. We usually make use of restaurants nearby so we can arrange a
collective lunch - or we call for a picnic in nature.
Lodgings
Due to the large selection of lodgings in Prague available through Internet,
we rely on students to negotiate them on their own, according to their own
price preferences. We can advise anyone who encounters difficulties while
negotiating a place to stay. We also advise our students to start off early,
as the capacities can quickly diminish, especially during the summer.
